STA Packaging Tapes has been fine tuning the art and science of manufacturing acrylic carton sealing tape for more than 26 years.

We offer the broadest line of acrylic carton sealing tapes, including an extensive range of high performance tapes. Our Supreme line of Proven Performance tapes outperform other packaging tapes because of the unique benefits they offer such as proven reliability, consistent quality, and ease of use, in addition to clarity and UV stability.

STA Proven Performance tapes stay clear over time and exposure to UV light. They remain clear and never yellow when exposed to UV lighting. This is especially evident when applied over graphics. They also do not delaminate over long exposure to UV lighting or fall off boxes in the freezer. Proven Performance tape bonds permanently to the fiber within minutes, whether applied by hand or machine. Due to the aggressive hold of our Proven Performance tapes, and the broad application temperature characteristic of our adhesive, cases can be sealed in the widest range of temperatures (32°F to 140°F), and remain sealed in temperatures ranging from -10°F up to 200°F. Proven Performance tapes can also be printed with stock and custom messages.

Additionally, we offer extensive lines of specialty pressure sensitive and water activated tapes. STA’s specialty tapes include Natural Rubber, Tensilized Strapping Tape, Glass Reinforced Filament Tape, Masking Tape, Label Protection Tape, Stationery Tape, UPVC Tape, and Retail Rolls.

STA Force Water Activated Reinforced and Gummed Sealing Tapes offer fast tacking adhesive that bonds quickly and permanently to corrugated board, making application fast and secure. Due to the permanent bond, STA’s water-activated tapes are also ideal for providing protection against pilferage. Boxes cannot be resealed without detection as a result of the superior adhesive penetration. Water activated tape is also ideal for over and under stuffed boxes.

To complement our complete line of acrylic carton sealing tape, STA Packaging Tapes carries a full line of hand dispensers.

Each Series is designed with ergonomic, non-slip grips balanced to minimize operator wrist fatigue. STA’s Series 1990 and Series 2990 models feature a spring-loaded arm which holds the roll in place while applying constant, proper tension during application. Due to the firm, controlled release of STA’s acrylic tape, the unwind is smooth and even, making it easy to apply with only one hand. As a result of the built-in brake, the tension is automatically controlled, preventing accidental snapping of the tape. Because the dispenser is easy to use and no tension adjustments required, there is no need for supervision or training. Both series are also easy to load. The Series 2990 models are also designed to minimize the amount of noise in the workplace, by reducing the noise level during application.

The Series 2130 models feature a standard hub mounted mandral. Model 2140AB of this series has a built-in adjustable brake to ensure that proper tension is applied during application.

STA case sealers feature the STA patented taping head. The STA taping head design is uniquely engineered to maintain consistent pressure to the tape to ensure the most secure, reliable seal possible. Our new line of interchangeable pressure sensitive taping heads are offered in a variety of tab lengths and tape widths to fit most applications.
